The Chocolate Market will take place throughout Parliament Street and will be open from 9.30am - 5.30pm 

The Chocolate Festival Marquee,  St Sampson's Square, York, YO1 9QT  
Chocolate Cafe, demonstrations, tastings and workshops will take place throughout the day in the festival marquee 
from 10am - 7.00pm

Try your luck at a range of Chocolate Challenges, where you’ll be able to battle your wits and show off your chocolate skills!

Wired High Ropes Challenge Easter Egg Hunt
This fabulous Fun outdoor activity is from 7 years upwards and has the added challenge of finding hidden eggs along the course. 
This Easter you can Work off the chocolate or allow yourself more after this Physical test of balance and agility!

11am - Easter Egg Masterpieces - Hands-on Chocolate Making Workshop in the Chocolate Festival Marquee - St Sampson's Square

Get stuck in creating your own decorations to beatifully make your own chocolate Easter Egg.

During this hands-on workshop all participants will get stuck in, working to create some gorgeous decorations that you will use to hand decorate your own chocolate Easter Egg. You will then beautifully packaging your creations to take home and show off, share or maybe just enjoy!

11.45am Easter Egg Hunt at St Olave's Church, Marygate
A special Easter Egg hunt for the whole family following St Olave's Church Easter service at 10.30am. 

Easter Sunday Chocolate Lunch at The Grange Hotel

1.00pm - 3.00pm Chocolate in the Easter Garden at St Martin's Church, Coney Street, York 
Indulge with a chocolate fountain and hot cross buns in the Easter Garden at St Martin's Church. No need to book, please just turn up. 

2.00pm - 3.00pm Making Chocolate from Bean to Bar - Hands-on Chocolate Making Workshop in the Chocolate Festival Marquee - St Sampson's Square

Get stuck in creating your own chocolate bar from the cocoa beans themselves.

During this hands-on workshop all participants will get stuck in, learning how chocolate is made and how to get chocolate from the cocoa beans themselves. You will then beautifully packaging your creations to take home and show off, share or maybe just enjoy!

5.00pm - Chocolate Tasting - The Chocolate Festival Marquee, St Sampson's Square

Take a journey through the world of chocolate, tasting as you go to discover flavours from cocoa beans from around the world. During the chocolate tasting you will enjoy a range of chocolates from creamy milk chocolates through to rich, dark chocolates made with rare and exotic cocoa beans, you'll even taste the beans themselves as you learn your own chocolate favourite.

7.30pm - Death by Chocolate - at The Mansion House
Delve into an evening of delicious fun with Tangled Web’s Chocolate Themed Murder Mystery
Play your part in our tasty chocolate themed plot, specially created for York’s Chocolate Festival. Feast on mouth-watering cuisine in the sumptuous Mansion House setting, encountering intriguing and colourful characters along the way. You and your fellow guests will play the characters and solve the mystery. Can you resist?
