The Chocolate Market - The Chocolate Market will take place throughout Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square and features chocolates and chocolate inspired produce from lots of local artisan producers. The Chocolate Market will be open from 9.30am - 5.30pm

Create your own chocolate Easter Egg at the Chocolate Festival Marquee with the chocolate team from York Cocoa House  . Taking place daily throughout the festival 10.30am - 4.30pm

York's Chocolate Story,
 King's Square 
York’s Chocolate Story is an entertaining and informative guided tour through the history of York’s most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. A visit to York’s CHOCOLATE Story is the perfect start to discovering the important role which York has played in how we enjoy chocolate in the UK today. 
Prices are £9.50 for adults, £8.50 for students and senior citizens, £7.50 for children (aged 5 – 15) and £28 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children). Best prices are available online. Easter Chocolate Nests 
11.00am - 12.00 noon 
Hands-on Chocolate Making Workshop at The Mansion House


Get stuck in learning how to make a chocolate nest this Easter to hold all of your special chocolates. During this hands-on workshop all participants will get stuck in, working with chocolate to create a chocolate nest to be filled with chocolate truffles and mini eggs. You will make your chocolate nest before beautifully packaging your creation to take home and show off, share or maybe just enjoy! 

Tickets are £5 for adults and £3.50 for children and are available at the York Chocolate Festival Marquee in St Sampson's Square or on-line in advance 



Chocolate Dessert Making
1.00pm - 2.00pm 
Hands-on Chocolate Making Workshop at The Mansion House

Get stuck in learning how to create your own gorgeous desserts by making a Chocolate Truffle Torte. During this hands-on workshop all participants will create a gorgeous dessert using Brown & Blond's amazing brownies as a gorgeous base, you will learn how to make the most chocolatey truffle torte. You will then beautifully packaging your creations to take home and show off, share or maybe just enjoy!

Chocolate Easter Egg Master Class
2.00pm - 4.00pm 
York Cocoa House

Discover the art of making gorgeous chocolate Easter Eggs in this chocolate masterclass. You will learn how to temper chocolate before making your own Easter Egg filled with chocolates. Tickets are £42 for adults or £25 for children and are available from York Cocoa House or on-line in advance.


Chocolate and Coffee Tasting with York Coffee Emporium
3.30pm - 4.30pm
The Mansion House

Join coffee roasters, York Coffee Emporium as they explain the coffee making process and discover the flavours of chocolate and coffee and how these 2 commodities have gone through a similar journey to become hot liquors of distinction. We can learn much about traditional chocolate making techniques by understanding how it's good friend coffee is made and treated by artisan roasters today. 

The Quest for a Mansion 
with Views Fit for a Lord  
6.00pm - 7.00pm 
The Mansion House

A talk by renowned local historian Ivan Martin on the history of the Mansion House. This talk will look at the history of the Mansion House, it's purpose and it's role in York. Ivan will also look at Terry's of York and the distinguished confectionery shop on the Lord Mayor's doorstep, how the company rose to international success with Joseph Terry becoming Lord Mayor himself.
