The Lord Mayor's Easter Chocolate Trail invites chocolate lovers to discover York and its chocolate celebrations around the city, discovering activities, clues and chocolate as you go. Trail cards can be purchased from the Visitor Information Centre for £3. Money raised will go to the Lord Mayor’s chosen charities (St. Nick’s, York Racial Equality Network, York Civic Trust and York LGBT Forum).
Participants can follow the trail around chocolate-themed locations in the city to see mouth-watering displays, solve puzzles and learn about the York’s fascinating chocolate heritage.
When participants have found all the chocolate displays, and answered all the puzzles, they can swap their completed trail card for a chocolatey treat at the Chocolate Festival on St. Sampson’s Square.
There will be a prize draw on Monday afternoon where one lucky participant will win chocolate treats from the city's chocolate makers!
